Crisis Core Final Fantasy VII begins in the game way as the original game. The game takes place in the same location as the original game and you even end up fighting the same enemies. However, Crisis Core Final Fantasy VII has a completely different battle system. At first you might think it is rather simple as you cannot jump and after striking your enemy once with your sword, you come to a pause before the next strike. However, do not let the introduction of the game mislead you. As you progress through the game, Crisis Core Final Fantasy VII becomes more exciting and complex and you end being forced to use all the spells and physical commands in order to win against your enemy.
The game is full innovative game mechanics and the most prominent of these is a large slot machine on the upper left corner of the screen. This slot machine keeps spinning continuously and keeps granting you special attacks if the three reels of the same character line up. The slot machine is called Digital Mind Wave or DMW.
No Final Fantasy game is complete without Materia. In Crisis Core, each color of Materia represents something different. Green Materia represents MP-using magic spells; yellow represents AP-using physical attacks and purple Materia increases your stats. As you progress in the game, you get more Materia ranging from spells to command Materia. Later in the game, you can even combine two Materia and come up with a new one.
As you progress through the game, you get more missions but on the whole there are more than 350 missions in Crisis Core Final Fantasy VII. Each mission is of different level of difficulty and you different points for completing a particular mission.
The game will reveal the secrets behind Shinra and the methods the company is using to fill its coffers at the expense of the planet. Ultimately Crisis Core Final Fantasy is an exhilarating game full of excitement and state-of-the-art visuals.
