Jade Empire is a great action RPG game for Xbox. It is developed by Bioware, Canadian developer. Microsoft published and released it in the United States on April 12, 2005, and it was released as a game for Microsoft Windows on May 10, 2006.

            Jade Empire’s Theme is inspired by ancient China. The player will assume the role of male / female martial artist who will discover weapon styles, magic styles, transformation styles, support styles, and martial arts. Even though the player is allowed to pick the sex of the character, the storyline remains the same.The player can change the style by pressing on the D-pad. The combat happen in real time. The character can attack or dodge from the attack of his/her enemy.
           
            The health stats of the player are shown by the stats of Health, Focus, and Chi ( Body, Mind, and Spirit). Weapon styles are control the stats of Focus, and Chi can be sue to heal the player. Chi can be charged up to create powerful strike. Health, focus, and chi can be refilled by gathering items left by defeated enemy. Some party members have the skill that can replenish and refills the player’s stats.

            Some aspects of Jade Empire is similar to Bioware’s Star War: Knight of the Old Republic. Players can talk to town people, and player is allowed to take side quested to earn extra items and experience points.
